Care

To maintain the performance of your garment, we recommend washing and drying after any big mission.

Machine wash on a warm cycle (105º F/40º C) using a small amount of liquid detergent. Rinse twice, minimize spinning to reduce creasing. Do not use powder detergents or any products that contain fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleach as they will affect garment performance. Do not wash with heavily soiled clothing
  • Do not dryclean
  • Non-chlorine bleach only when needed
  • Tumble dry on a medium heat to rejuvenate DWR coating
  • Don't have a dryer? Just drip dry then iron on low heat, no steam to rejuvenate DWR Coating
  • Close zips while washing (they'll last longer)
  • Over time you may need to restore the DWR coating. We recommend using ReviveX Durable Water Repellent Spray
  • Don't use permanent-marker, or any other solvent, on the lining of your garment
  • If you get attacked by the abominable snowman and the fabric gets holed while saving your arm, send it back and we'll patch it

Durable, TrustworthyReview by Tania
Have loved this jacket for a while now, and this year decided to really test it on the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. Survived the wet season in PerĂº, kept me and my electronics dry as for days.
Grateful to have it as part of my tramping kit. (Posted on 26/06/19)
BulletproofReview by Angus
Having worn this jacket now for a few months I am now able to give a decent review of this jacket.
This thing is very hardy, its a heavyweight tramping raincoat.
It definitely keeps the rain out, haven't had any problems with that since I've had it.
Made from this waterproof and breathable fabric that feels like it'll last for ages.
The chest pockets are not waterproof, so don't go putting your map in there and expect it to not get soggy.
These run large in sizing, I'm usually a medium/small-medium, but I fit an XS in this jacket even with layers underneath.
One improvement that might be made is that the jacket tends to ride up under your hipbelt, maybe some more 'grippy' material to go around this area would prevent the jacket riding up, and the pack sliding down too far.

All in all a great jacket that I would definitely buy again, but don't think I'll need to anytime soon.
Cheers! (Posted on 9/05/19)
