Introducing the 2017 version of the Womens Down Jacket with a removable hood.

We hold limited stock of this product and make the rest to order. If we have your size and colour in stock we'll ship it straight away otherwise expect delivery in 4 weeks. Down jackets are a 'must have' in New Zealand for the winter. They're pretty much a uniform in the South Island. They're not cheap and when you buy one you want it to last. You don't want to have to worry about brushing past a tree or holding a pile of firewood and the fabric tearing. This is why we thought that we should take on the challenge to make a tougher down jacket. And we did!

We've done some wear testing by performing some the normal day to day activities of a typical kiwi bloke/lady and had some good results. Check out the video under the 'media' tab. Although we wouldn't recommend intentionally doing these activites in your new down jacket, it will definitely withstand a bit of rough and tumble. 

• Cactus WTF-2 (220 denier nylon face fabric) 

• Adjustable hood

• 750 loft white european goose down. Ethically harvested, sourced from Germany

• Nylon taffeta lining

• Two internal chest pockets, two external (fleece lined) hand pockets

• Fleece lined cuffs 

Please note - the Olive pictured is for colour reference only. The 2017 version has a removeable hood like the blue & black versions pictured.

Outer: Cactus WTF-2 (220 denier nylon face fabric) 

Lining: Nylon taffeta 

Fill: 750 loft white european goose down. Ethically harvested, sourced from Germany.

Colours: Black, Olive

• Brush dirt from the product while still dry
• Hand wash in a warm water using a non-detergent soap or specific down-washing product - preferably one that's nice to the earth
• Rinse well
• Drip dry inside out. Then a tennis ball in low heat dryer is good to totally dry it out and the ball breaks up down clumps
• Close zips while washing (they'll last longer), you can also lightly oil or wax zips periodically to increase their lifespan
