Based on our famous Miklat and Patrol packs, the Huntaway was designed with simplicity, functionality and durability in mind. We incorporated the K.I.S.S. model during design and built this pack to withstand the harsh environment of the New Zealand back country, constructed from our tried and true 12oz C-Canvas combined with minimal seams for increased water resistance and strength, this no-nonsense workhorse will go the distance where others fail.

Care

Our pack fabrics have an internal water proof coating and an external DWR coating. For increased longevity of these coatings we do not recommend machine washing

Brush dirt from the product while still dry

Hand wash in cold or warm water using mild detergent or pure soap - preferably one that's nice to the earth

Close zips while washing (they'll last longer), you can also silicone spray or lightly wax zips periodically to increase their lifespan

Drip dry without creases

Walked the Te Araroa trail with this pack. Was used and worn all day, every day for 116 days.
It did was it was made to do. Used for everything from day trips through to 10 days (with supplies) walking around Stewart island.
Only cons -
-Drink bottles dont fit in the side pockets.
-Needs a port for the hose from the drink bladder.
Apart from that. I can't fault the pack. If there were more negative points to this pack. I would have found them by now!
